Brief Summary: When we learn the knowledge of God, we must gain an understanding to go with it. If we were to know everything about God but never acted on that knowledge we will never gain understanding. We act on our knowledge of God by faith in Jesus name. It is that faith that pleases God, and it is when we gain understanding of what we know. It is like reading a book on how to fix cars, you gain knowledge, but you never gain understanding unless you roll up your sleeves and fix one.
If God’s Word says it is so. Then you have the knowledge. What you do in faith and believing it is when you will place it under your stand.
