    Keyword: Prayer

Definition: a request addressed to God

    Scriptures: Hebrew 10:5-10

    2 Chronicles 7:12-16

    Genesis 3

Brief Summary: When we pray the devil hears what we say as well as God. Satan does his level best to find out what we ask for so he can take what God’s answers are and make them his own. In fact the devil loves when we pray in a language we can understand because he can try and intercept what the answer to your prayer is and give you something close to what you are wanting, but not what God would give you. If it is from God it is a good and perfect gift. Satan always has a string attached to his gifts, and they are never perfect. His gifts are just a patch to keep you under his thumb. The devil does not forgive, it is not one of his attributes, he is quick to punish. He stole God’s kingdom when Eve and Adam where decieved and God’s creation becames his for a time. The devil does not line his will up with anyones. The devil wants everthing His way and he is willing to force you to do his will. The devil loves when you pray to God so that he can hear from heaven.

God gave you a free will you can come to Him or not, and He will not force you to.

God gave His Son so that we could pray to Him in private as individuals, and come boldly to the throne in Jesus name.

When we pray it is so important that we know who is answering our prayers, because the devil will answer with a cheap imitation.

When we pray in an unknown tongue, we pray in the Spirit of God and satan can not intervene. In other words, if we do not understand what we are saying when we pray, satan does not have a prayer.

Prayers are so powerful when we ask God for anything, our answers may not be in the best interest of the people that refuse to believe in God and His Son.

God answers your prayers in Jesus name, and He hears them when you pray, the answers may not come right away, but do not settle for less than His best.
