Brief summary: We as christians need to come to one accord. We do not have too like the same things, or the same people on this earth, but we will have to come to agreement as to who God is and to what His will is. When we set out to do the things God calls us to do, and do His will on earth in Jesus name, the people we are yoked to will need to be on one accord. They will need to know God’s will and agree with each other, or they will be someone you are yoked to, but do not have the same job in mine, and it becomes a double minded kingdom, that can get very little done.
When we agree on God’s will, we become like a braided cord that is not easily broken. When we look at a braided cord it is hard to tell one strand from the other and it all works when pulled to move what it is tied to.
If we were to unravel that cord, and each person, or strand did his own thing and went different directions, it would do more harm than good.
That is what we are like when we all try to agree in pray and our faith is going ten directions. We are an unraveled cord and our agreement is not agreement at all.
When you decide to agree with someone in prayer, besure you all agree. Otherwise you could be yoking yourself to someone that does not have the same out-come in mind, and with God there is, His will and then there is other wills, and you will want to agree with Him, because it is in your best interest.
